Inspired by some ideas on Pinterest, Addy and I worked on her Dragon Room a bit during yesterday's downpour. A couple of summers ago when Addy announced she didn't like her room painted pink and would like a blue dragon room...I was at a loss. I called my sister who is awesome at design and she suggested we go neutral with dragon and blue accents. What great advice!
We painted the room a Muslin, Bisque, Wheat, Light Honey (I just don't want to say beige/tan- sounds boring.) We purchased a fluffy white down alternative comforter at Ross, painted the furniture a crisp white and have been making and collecting dragon items. The room has been pretty done for awhile but has needed some splashes of a bit more "dragon." Addy likes pretty dragons, not scarry ones and not Chinese ones so it has been hard to find just the right dragons.
Here is what we have so far. Our rainstorm project is drying and I'll post a picture when we have it put together. Just wait and see.
