We love Grandpa Bobby!

Grandpa Bobby passed away this morning. We love him so much! I am grateful our children have had such a great relationship with their Great Grandpa. Tyler has sat by Grandpa's chair weekly and listened to his stories. The kids recently bought Grandpa a magnifying glass. They hadn't given it to him yet and were concerned about that when they heard he had passed away.

What a reunion Grandpa must be having with his son Kelly, his parents, brother, and sister. Love you Grandpa Bobby!

Yo Ho Yo Ho

We headed to the Happiest Place on Earth with the Nickels and Grandpa and Grandma Z. Grandma Wendy suggested we try RideMaxx. So the night before the magical day we downloaded the software and entered the rides we wanted to go on and times we wanted to eat. RideMaxx spit out a schedule for our adventure. It was great, we didn't have to ask "Where do you want to go?" We just all checked our schedule and mostly stayed together which made for a fabulous cousin day! Addy loved Dumbo and the Rockets, Cole and Tyler are rollercoaster guys, and I love my chocolate banana on a stick. We love Disneyland!

Making Sandwiches for the Local Foodbank

The kids made PB&J sandwiches and we delivered them to the local foodbank. They give out the sandwiches in lunch bags after serving breakfast.

We Ran Away for the Day

We headed to Temecula for a day trip. It was a fabulous get-away! I love the antique shop and garden stores.

World War II Enthusiasts

Shawn's Grandpa, Bobby King, was on a oil tanker during World War II in the South Pacific. The boys have become enamored with WWII planes and ships. They set up a display at the library. Grandpa Bobby came to admire their work.

Geocaching with Cousins

We hit four geocaches today. It was our first time and we love it!
